For this recipe, we take our Mississippi Pot Roast (see recipe), pile it high on a butter-toasted hoagie and top it off with homemade cheese sauce. Delightful!Â
2 T. butter
2 T. flour
1 cup Milk
2 heaping cups of extra sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated (we like Tillamook brand)Â
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepperÂ
Butter for Hoagie rolls

Directions:
Follow recipe for Mississippi Pot Roast
To make cheese sauce –Â
In medium saucepan over medium heat, add butter and heat until melted.
Whisk in the flour, salt, and pepper to make a paste and then slowly add in the milk, whisking constantly.Â
Add in the cheese and mix until cheese is melted.Â
Meanwhile, heat a large skillet to toast hoagie rolls.Â
Butter hoagie rolls and place in skillet until toasted.
Transfer to plate, pile high with Mississippi Pot Roast, top with generous amount of cheese sauce, and enjoy!!Â
