GRANDMA'S CHILI

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs. Tjaden Ranch ground beef 

  • 1 lb. pork breakfast sausage

  • 2 small onions, chopped

  • 2 green peppers, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz. each)

  • 4 c. tomato juice

  • 2 T. chili powder (or to your liking)

  • 2 tsp. salt

  • 10 cans (15 oz. each) kidney beans, or you can also use variety of kidney and black beans

Directions:

1. Brown ground beef, sausage, onion, green pepper and garlic

2. Add remaining ingredients

3. Simmer uncovered for one hour

4. Enjoy
